After moving from Tampa to Cedar Rapids in 2008, I took over The ACCESSline, Iowa’s LGBT+ community newspaper. One of the best decisions I made while working with the paper was hiring Angela Geno-Stumme as Assistant Editor in 2010
When I finally made the difficult decision to close the paper in 2013, I didn’t hesitate to ask Angela to continue working with FireSpike.
Angela switched from the paper to working on social media consulting, search engine optimization, and online marketing. She now also heads up our monthly newsletters and leads all of FireSpike’s online marketing efforts.
Ten years has gone by quickly! I hope she’s with FireSpike for many years to come!
