Google Analytics is a free service that gives website owners a wide range of information about the visitors to their websites: where the visitors are, what kind of device they’re using to view the site, which other site or search engine referred them to the site, and much, much more.
Many of FireSpike’s clients already were using Google Analytics before this month, but we decided to go ahead and install it on ALL of our clients’ websites so ALL OF YOU can have this valuable information at your fingertips.
Analytics is an excellent tool to use for knowing how well your website is working for you, including things like:
- keeping track of how your SEO efforts are helping,
- checking to see that your local geographic efforts are working, or
- finding out what people are searching for in order to find your website
Even if FireSpike set it up for you, your Analytics account belongs to YOU. For full access to all of your Google Analytics information just contact us—using our ticket system is a great way!—and we’ll provide access to and control over the Analytics account to you. If you need help deciphering your Analytics information, we can help with that too.
