WordPress has made the plugin-update process easier recently by giving sites the option of automatically updating selected plugins. More often than not, activating this option will make sense. In some cases, though, updating a plugin can cause conflicts, errors, or visible changes on a site. This is why part of our monthly maintenance is to review every site after we have updated the plugins. We look through the site to see if anything has broken or if anything is displaying oddly—or not displaying at all! Even in cases where we opt to have plugins update automatically, we will still be reviewing sites regularly after updates.

What our clients are saying…
"I asked Arthur and his team at FireSpike to create a simple website for my new business. I'm by no means 'tech oriented' and needed some hand holding along the way. Arthur did an excellent job recommending ways to build out my site to accomplish what I was after - I couldn't be happier with his communication, ability to problem solve, and the product I've received. I highly recommend Arthur for all of your web projects, large or small. He'll be sure to keep you informed, on budget, and on time with your goals. Thank you, Arthur!"
